The 9th generation of the Munakata kiln in Aizu, Fukushima Prefecture. Munakata draws inspiration from the breathaking nature of his homeland. He creates pottery using locally sourced clays and plant ash glazes, skillfully capturing mesmerizing color gradations that reflects the vibrancy of the natural world.
