Tori Yoshino

Born in 1965 in Fukuoka, Tori Yoshino's passion for ceramics was sparked by his mother’s passion for tea ceremonies. Yoshino's artistic identity is distinctive for the gentle aesthetics of Hagi ware and the biwa color, resembling the hues of loquats. He also embraces Joseon-style pottery techniques like kakiotoshi (scraping off) and iron painting.
