The water jug, an essential element in the Japanese tea ceremony, serves the purpose of holding fresh water for replenishing the iron kettle and rinsing the tea bowl. In Hideki Yamamoto's creation, the vessel is adorned with his signature metallic-like black glaze, while the lid is accentuated in gold, resulting in a subtle yet striking visual contrast. The unique side handles resembling a pair of wings breathe life into this artwork, adding another significant feature to its charm.
